Do they work with my iPhone or Android phone?

Yes — both. SightPhones pair with current iPhone and Android handsets through the companion app, so you can set them up and keep them up to date whichever phone you carry.

What comes in the box?

Your SightPhones, a charging cable, and a protective case to keep them safe between wears.

The Power Cells — the snap-in backup battery — are an optional add-on rather than part of the standard box.

How long does the battery last, and how do I charge them?

On moderate everyday use they comfortably last the day. With heavy continuous use — constant translation or filming — expect a few hours rather than a full day. They charge over USB-C with the cable in the box, and you can keep using them while they charge.

If you want more headroom, the Power Cells (£69.99) are a 3000mAh rechargeable charging case. Top up between meetings and get more from your glasses without finding a plug.

Can I wear them with my prescription?

Yes. We offer a prescription lens service so you can wear SightPhones with your everyday prescription rather than over contacts. Get in touch with your prescription and we'll arrange the right lenses for your frames.

Do I need a ChatGPT or Gemini subscription?

SightPhones use ChatGPT and Gemini for the AI features — asking questions, translating, and pulling up information in your line of sight. You don't need a separate subscription to get started. Some advanced features may ask you to sign in with the relevant provider.

AI requests are handled by the respective provider. We never sell your personal data — see our privacy policy for the detail.

How does the live translation work?

Translation appears quietly in your line of sight while the other person speaks, so you can stay in the conversation instead of looking down at a phone. Because it's powered by the on-board AI, an internet connection — Wi-Fi or your phone's data — is needed for live translation.

When is the camera recording?

Only when you choose to use it. The camera captures a photo or video when you deliberately start it — it is not recording in the background or listening continuously. When you're not using it, it's off.

How long does delivery take, and where do you ship?

UK delivery is free, and orders are dispatched from the UK. We currently ship within the United Kingdom only.

The glasses are on pre-order right now — we expect to begin dispatching from week commencing 9 June 2026, and we'll email you with tracking as soon as your order is on its way.

What's your warranty and returns policy?

Every pair comes with a one-year manufacturer's warranty covering hardware defects and technical failures, backed by the brand's official service network. If a fault develops, get in touch and we'll help you arrange a claim.

You also have 30 days to return your SightPhones for a refund, provided they're unworn and in their original packaging.

What if I lose or break them?

The one-year manufacturer's warranty covers hardware defects and technical failures, but not accidental damage or loss. If you've had an accident, get in touch — we'll talk you through repair and replacement options.
